PPS QUILON PARCHMENT PAPER is used in the following two processes when performing Direct To Garment printing workflow:
1. Placed on top of the just pre-treated garment in a heat press to protect the garment when drying the pretreatment. Heat press should be at 330 F and heat press platen is lowered but not clamped for a period of 10-35 seconds or till pretreatment on garment is fully dry. Remove Quilon paper and press for additional 10 seconds with heat press clamped to press out all wrinkles in shirt.
2. Prior to printing, place pretreated shirt on heat press covered with Quilon paper for 10-15 seconds to remove wrinkles and press sure flat to ensure best printing quality.
(Remember use of a Silicon Paper or Teflon sheet prior to DTG printing can disturb the pre-treatment and cause white ink to not adhere to fabric.)
